I added a guide, and an option that removes most enemies
I added a readme.txt file to the game's itchio downloads. It is very spoilery and is intended to serve as guide to all the content in the game. I also added an 'exploration mode' in addition to some bug fixes. No new content has been added to the game except for the explanation of exploration mode. All the mode does is boost your stats and set all the enemies in the game to their 'defeated' state, with the exception of the final boss. You should be able to get to the boss very quickly this way, and hopefully still have time to check out some other side stuff.
The original intention behind the design of the game and the map was always to have the final Boss be at the center of the dungeon, and potentially one of the first things you could encounter. There were originally meant to be multiples ways to get past the boss' Goblic Endowment, with most of the game's content being optional including all the enemies except for the final boss. What is currently the only way to beat the game was supposed to be a last resort option for players who have explored the entire dungeon but somehow missed the little optional ways to beat the game.
With all those other options cut, defeating the game's hardest enemies, which was supposed to be optional, has become required. The map is also way bigger than it needs to be, and you can spend too much time not interacting with anything. To try and mitigate some of this I wrote up a guide that lays out exactly where everything is and how to get to it, though it will spoil any sense of surprise or discovery. In the exploration mode, with the mini-bosses defeated from the start, you are free to end the game as quickly as you feel like and move through the caves without hassle.
